Merry Christmas! Hopefully, everyone who was in attendance at the Robins and Ducklings performance of 'Born in a Barn' were feeling even more festive than before after watching a super recreation of the Nativity story. Robins and Ducklings have been working hard getting ready for the performance, with lots of singing taking place in class. Some of this was specific rehearsal, whilst we also had the songs pretty much on a loop throughout the day, so there was lots of incidental singing whilst painting, colouring, building or whatever activity the children were undertaking in the continuous provision. We also need to say a big 'thank you!' to the parents who have also had the songs on a loop at home! It was clear that many children benefitted from hearing them outside of school, particularly when trying to learn some of the trickier verses. No doubt, everyone who came to the show will agree that it was a great way to start the last week before we break up for the Christmas holidays. Once again - Merry Christmas!
