This week in Swans the children have been working hard on their counting skills. Both year 1 and year 2 pupils have been counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and solving a range of different questions. We have then progressed to using these skills to solve different multiplication and division questions. Children use a range of resources to support them including double sided counters, cubes and whiteboard to create pictorial representations. All of this is vital to their mathematical learning journey.
