Fun in Swans
Science and maths in Swans
Over the last week children in Swans have been comparing and measuring mass, capacity and temperature. They have used scales, measured the temperature using thermometers and used liquids to discuss the capacity and volume of a range of beakers when containing different amounts of water.
In Science pupils have completed their habitats unit which has focused on a range of common habitats around the country. Pupils were able to use the Chromebooks to research animals and were using vocabulary such as predator, prey and producer. In their final lesson Swans created their own food chains. Some of these got very long!
