Robins and Ducklings spent some of Valentine's Day, Friday the 14th of February, learning about Saint Valentine and why we celebrate this special day every year. They learnt that the origins of this day date back all the way to Roman times. Over the Thursday and Friday of the last week of half-term, the children began creating these lovely Valentine's Day cards to take home for the grown-ups that they love. Hopefully, the photographs show the lovely work that they produced and were clearly proud to be taking home as we broke up for the half-term holiday.
